Looking for genuine brands? Let me tell you my story about the need to beware of fakes in these internet streets! While perusing the internet trying to bring my readers the best free imagery possible, I came across an ad that read, ‘Spare Designer Labels to Increase the Likelihood of Selling Your H&M Clothes To Beacons Closet’ ain’t that some S***! I had never heard of Beacons Closet, so I had to be nosy and scooch on over there and do a lil snooping around. Beacons Closet is an online reseller of brand-name clothing. I act like a private detector for you all out here in these internet streets! Anyhow, I digress. Shysters are out here in these internet streets, putting designer labels on fake clothes and broadly advertising their trickery. If that isn’t boldness, I don’t know what is!

Genuine Brands: Know what you are buying
Vendors can sell fake items because the buyer knows little to nothing about what they are purchasing. Does the item you are purchasing have unique markings that aid in preventing knockoffs? Here is an extensive list of items that are often faked and you will be surprised at some of the items on the list,
Is the store/online shop reputable?
You have to know who you are buying from, plain and simple. Do these stores vet the items they receive as authentic genuine brands? What are the customer reviews saying about the retailer? Is Cindy Lou Who and Dora the Explorer writing reviews saying they received fake items? You may need to give that retailer a pass.
These internet streets can be dangerous, so please ensure you navigate them cautiously and beware of fakes. We work too hard for our money to be tricked into buying something that is not real. Check out how I look good on less by shopping thrift stores.
