Lord knows I love some fine dining and I love fine dining on a dime even more! My mouth is watering as I think of the delectable dishes I had at Ramsay’s Kitchen in Boston or the Coast Guard House in Narragansett. When I tell you it was worth every penny of the high price I paid….child, it was! I am eager to return when my budget allows.
These treats are occasional splurges and are not the norm for me. They generally coincide with my travels to Boston for bi-annual oncology visits. I view them as the pick me up that I need to get me through the reason I have to go to Boston in the first place, cancer screenings. So, I make sure to include these indulgences in my monthly budget. I allocate a monthly ‘ME MONEY™’ category to spend on anything I desire up to my allotted dollar amount.
